Anders Run Natural Area & Trail Cornplanter State ForestThis trail is almost 2 miles long, there is also a shorter trail loop which is less than 1 mile long. There are many large white pine and hemlocks that you can see along the trail. Many of them date back to the early 1700s, and some of the hemlocks are estimated to be 400 years old. Some of these trees are 130 feet tall and over 40 inches around! Also featured on this trail is the "Little Stone House in the Hollow". Brush Hollow and Mill Creek This trail has 3 loops offering a total of 7.7 miles of hiking. The trail is marked with blue diamonds. Brush Hollow offers challenges to a wide range of skill levels. The section of trail located along Big Mill Creek is designated EASIEST and is suitable for beginners. The Brushy Gap and Elli Loops are designated MORE DIFFICULT. The Challenger Loop is designated MOST DIFFICULT and is suitable for experienced skiers. |

Buckaloons Recreation AreasThis campground features the Buckaloons Seneca Trail, made for the Seneca Indian Tribe that lived there. It circles the entire recreation area and is one mile long Irvine Rd. off Rt.62 |

North Country National Scenic TrailThis trail extends over 96 miles! It takes you through the Iroquois and the Allegheny Plateau. Home of the most valuable black cherry in the world, landscapes rich in history, wildlife and natural beauty. A unique national resource, the NCT is part of a 4,600 mile National Scenic Trail that extends from Crown Point, NY to Lake Sakakawea, ND. Once completed, it will be the longest continuous footpath in the US. |

Morrison TrailSlopes along the reservoir and along the small streams are steep. Large boulders can be found on the steeper hillsides. The trail is marked with gray diamond markers. Most of the area is heavily forested in second growth timber; primarily oak and hickory. Hemlock is found in small groves along the streams, and some magnificent old white pines can be found in scattered locations. Mid to late June provides a perfect opportunity to view the Mountain Laurel, the Pennsylvania State flower. Opportunities to view wildlife - deer, squirrel, grouse and turkey are also good. Minister Creek Recreation AreaThe hiking trail is a 6 mile loop, starts and ends at the campground. The trail is marked with off-white blazes, and joins the North Country National Scenic Trail on the north end. Trout fishing is excellent in Minister Creek. Chapman State ParkThere are 12 miles of trails in this park, Chapman is the trailhead for backpacking trails on adjoining public lands. Map and trail information is available in the park office.
